THE 2012 GATES MILLENNIUM SCHOLARS PROGRAM
In 1999 Bill and Milenda Gates started the Gate Millennium Scholars program, a program that supports high performing minority high school students. Each year GMS selects 1,000 talented students to receive a good-through-graduation full scholarship to use at any college or university of their choice. YFU is a homestay program where you live with a host family, attend the local high school, and interact with new friends.
